If you want to see what else is out there, Dr Gary D. Storrick's Vertical Devices is excellent. Over a period of 40 years, he has collected and tested over 1400 devices. If you want to check out devices new and old from all over the world, this is a great place to start.

I don't run into burning buildings to jump out the windows, I don't play Tarzan of the jungle, and I don't interfere with natural selection. I have no objection to anyone doing these things, but I don't have those forms of experience. If you do any of these, you should form your own opinions.
